6/7/2015 DB's Dailies: Cass,Kea&Duke@RI, Kaiwi@SC, Ka'ena,Kimo Kai & Squinty@KP, Kolohe@GR&Maili Pt., Ola@TB

On the road at 0605. It would be 0746 before I found critters. I found what would prove to be Duke (RA12) & Kea (RN46), in the Morning Glory, 40 ft left of 1BS at 0746. They would interact with Cass when they moved down and into the water at 0800. The entire day was of no consequence until 1340 when little Cass hauled out to join Duke & Kea out on the left rock flats. They boys were runnin’ her ragged, but she held her own. All 3 would enter the water together at 1556.

 Gayle called at 1154 with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) doing 7 minute dives at Spitting Cave.

 Marilyn did The End of the World trek today, and at 0912 advised that she had found Ka’ena (RO40), still with hook, on the rocks at the Runway. She would also find Kimo Kai (RT12) at Ka’ena’s Pool, and Squinty (R330) near BG’s Pool.

 The Billands called at 0705 with the report of Kolohe at Maili Point. He was run off from there and would later relocate to Maili Guard Rails.

 Melanie Chun checked in at 1247 with the report of Ola (RG03) at the birth beach, Turtle Bay.
