6/12/2015 DB's Dailies: Cass@RI, Kimo Kai@GR, Benny@PC, RI37@Leftovers, Makaiwi@Maui

Passes through the SE quadrant by both Gayle & myself all came up zero. As is often the case, Rabbit Island was the only hope. When I arrived at Makai Pier at 0830 it was just me and da’ birds. Finally, at 0932 Cass (RG06) hauled out to the left end of the beach on RI. She would remain all day , and was the one and only non-winged RI resident.

 At 0750 Team Billand reported Kimo Kai (RT12) at Maili Guard Rails. He would depart at 0959.

 At 0931 the Billands advised that Benny (RE74) was at Paradise Cove. He would depart at 1050. 

Dana called at 1439 to advise of a report of Makaiwi (R4DF) on Maui today. She has been on the Big Island since March. Headed back this way ???????? Only Makaiwi knows !

 In the Yesterday’s News department, Gina Walker sent shots of Ola (RG03) & big sister Kaikaina (RL54) together at Turtle Bay, yesterday.

1612 mail from Karen Turner brought word, and photos, of RI37 at “Leftovers” on the North Shore, responding to a Hotline call. Thank You Karen

 Last but not least, a Happy 3rd Birthday to Aukai (RL12).
