8-6-2014 DB's Dailies: U/U@BH, Duke,Aukai&Kainoa@RI, T990@Kahala, Benny,M&M@WP, RIP&Pohaku@Maili

At 0623 I found my usual U/U doing 7 minute dives at Blowhole. The animal was gone on my 0753 recheck, but there again, still doing 7 min dives at 1400. My dollar, as always, is on Buster, but ???

 On my 2nd Rabbit Island look, at 1104 I found a gang of 3 fronting Left Greenery on RI. They would prove to be Duke (RA12), Aukai (RL12), and a 100% molted Kainoa (RN04). They remained all day. 

At 1116 Melanie confirmed T990 near the Kahala Hotel. Dana had sent an earlier email with shots from Ty.

 At 0650 Team Billand reported M&M (R020) and Benny (RE74) together at White Plains. Barbara confirmed that M&M has begun her molt.

 Diane T called at 1040 to advise that Benny had departed.

 At 0932 Dana called with the report of RIP (RR70) & Pohaku (RO28) at Maili. Team Billand reported their departure at 1300, only to haul out again at Ulehawa Beach a 1317.

 Team Billand called at 1210 to advise that posse member Linda had responded to a report of 2 animals at Lagoon#4, KoOlina, however they were gone on her arrival.

Val Bloy sent shots from her 8-5-14 trek on Kauai of Rocky & PK4, and RF28. Tracy advised that Mark & Dr. Greg went to Kauai today to clean up PK4's dog bite, puncture wounds.

 okay there it is... the infamous Benny posture.... he's the only seal I know that spends more time raising his body up.... i half expect him to stand up on his hind flippers.
