Marilyn found Kaiwi&PO4 (D#21), 30 ft west of the existing SPZ. She hurriedly erected a temporary SPZ. Brad was the only other HMMA volunteer on the list today for the 1-4 shift. Gayle filled in the 10-1. Evening news from Marilyn, at the site advised that Jon was there on the 4-7, and had moved some fencing.At 0810 I found Aukai (RL12) & Cass (RG06) on Rabbit Island. Kala (RH76) would haul out to the far left end of the beach at 1034.
Team Billand found RL42 at Makua Cliffs at 0932.
At a separate Makua Cliffs location they found Benny (RE74) at 1021.
Posse member Christian Young called a 1055 with the report of Rocky (RH58) in her trough at Magic Island. He also sent photos. There were snorkelers in the area but nobody was ever aware of her being there.
Lastly, a Happy 10th Birthday to my #4 son, Ka’ena (RO40), born this day in 2006 to Irma, at Ka’ena Point. okay I want a piece of that cake!
