Marilyn had the 7-10 at AD with Kaiwi&PO4(D#25). She advised that both were swimming in a tide pool when she arrived. Their morning was spent in and out of the tide pools. The afternoon became a problem when a significant portion of the east end fence was found torn down. Melanie and Marilyn redid the east end , shortening up the SPZ, which was definitely needed.At 0742 I found Aukai (RL12)& Cass (RG06) together, up in the Morning Glory, and RG32 out on the left rock flats on Rabbit Island.
At 0835 Kala (RH76) came into my line of sight far out on the left end flats, foraging in the tide pools.I know I have a limited audience that cares, but know that all the Sooty Terns and most of the Brown Noddys have departed Rabbit Island for the year. Finally, a seal will be able to get a decent day’s sleep.
Marilyn responded to a Hotline call about an animal at Sandy Beach at 1030. She called requesting additional equipment and confirming the Kolohe (RW22) at Crappy Cove, SB. When I arrived at 1050 I could also confirmed the Kolohe ID. Mahalos to Marilyn, Gina& Gayle. Kolohe departed at 1923.s
