11-29-11 DB Dailies

We were on the road at 0617, on the Kaiwi Kuest, but alas by end of day neither Marilyn & I, nor Gayle, Kathy, June or Z&P had found her, despite lots of looking.

I spoke with Dera at 0730. She advised that the 2200 Kaiwi data showed her to be somewhere in the Maunalua Bay area, with weak data points.

She also advised that Kekoa (RK72) was back at the Reef Runway, as of the 0300 data. This was later confirmed by posse member Eileen at 1255 when she found him on her rounds at the Reef Runway.

Gayle called at 0856 from Spitting Cave, with the report of an animal. When I arrived 0906 I found Buster (RV08) doing 6 minute dives. On his 0937 up he was heading toward the point, and we did not see him again after that.

The Billands were again busy little beavers over in the SW quadrant. At 0738 they found Irma (R010), near the east end fence at White Plains. At 1048 she would be joined by M&M (R020). The WP population would increase again at 1102, with the arrival of Benny (RE74), down the beach from the girls, fronting #1707.

According to Barbara , Irma & M&M moved up into the grass near the cottages, late in the day, where cottage residents were all around them.

At 1017 the Billands reported Ewa Girl (RS00) and Kermit (R4DG) together fronting #1705 at Nimitz Cottages.

Dana called at 1047 with the report of R5AY at Turtle Bay.
Also at 1047 she advised that Jeannie Martinson had reported Right Spot at Rocky Point again today.
