My first Rabbit Island find came at 0650, when I found Kolohe (RW22) just hauling out and moving up and into the Morning Glory . He would move down again at 0913 to spend the day staying cool at the water line at Seal Rock Inlet. On a pan at 1024 I happened on to Duke (RA12) and Nani (RK60) rolling and playing in the shore break fronting 3BS. Nani would manage to give Duke the slip and hauled out at 1036 to the mid Middle Cliff area. Duke would haul out at 1034 to right Middle Cliff. Both spent the rest of the day at those respective locations.
Colleen Heyer called at 0659 to advise that Rocky (RH58) was once again hauled out near the Diamond Head showers. On Colleen's 1218 recheck, Rocky had departed.
Team Billand checked in at 0826 with the report of Benny (RE74), fronting #1945, Nimitz Cottages. Benny would enter the water at 1213 and swim as far as the Kalaeloa Campgrounds (lookin' for chicks) and then turn around and return to resume his snooze at #1945, at 1320. His molt is 75%. At 0951 the Billands reported Max (R5EW) at Palm Grove, Campbell Industrial Park. A 1455 Team Billand called to advise that posse member Clay Gates, had called to report T21M just hauling out to IRQ.
