7-10-11 DB Dailies

At 0650 on my first look at Rabbit Island I found what would prove to be Duke (RA12) snoozin' in the Morning Glory, behind Seal Rock Inlet.

When I got back to Makai Pier at 0834 I found Duke beginning to move down to cool off, and found Nani snoozin' , fronting 3BS.

Duke would enter the water and at 0950 hauled out to join Nani. At 1000 they entered the water together and did a swim/play session. Once again there was no overly heavy flippered antics. It looked like low key, fun. Nani hauled out briefly at 1030, but after a few minutes returned to the water and swam down the beach front approximately 50 ft or so to rejoin Duke. They continued play until 1105 when they hauled out together fronting 3BS, where they spent the rest of the day. Nani playing with sticks for a while was the only other action.

Team Billand reported Max (R5EW) at Palm Grove, Campbell Industrial Park at 0850. At 1502 in response to a Dera call, Team Billand called from Tracks to report M&M (R020) and RIP (RR70) together.

A 1604 email from Dana brought news that I'd not gotten today. Apparently, there was an U/U at Sand Island, and John Sadowski reported "N11", Rocky (RH58) near access 186D, in Ewa Beach. Awaiting photos. I had gotten no calls on these haul outs. Dana's mail also advised that KellyGirl had done the Turtle Bay, High Rock trudge, but found nobody. Sorry, Kelly !

Very sweet Duke playing with cousin Nani... Amazing how the young ones will hang out with each other and have some playtime....
M+M and RIP @ Tracks..
RIP going after all the older ladies... Poor Irma is going to be a grandmother to sooooo many!
RIP young handsome and studly!
