The sum total of my Monk Seal day was a 1700 until 1800 check of Rabbit Island from Makai Pier. I'll spare you the crappy photos, and just tell you that today's cast was Buster (RV08) at the left end and Nani (RK60) on the right end. Team Billand found Max (R5EW) foraging off shore of Kermit's Reef (NIM) at 0712, doing 4 minute dives.
At 0800 Max hauled out fronting #1945, at Nimitz Cottages, where he has remained all day. The Billands got a call from Clay Gates at 1025, reporting Rocky (RH58) at Iroquois Point. They later confirmed the ID .
Team Billand reported that Dana had called to advise them that Irma (R010) was on the east side of the east end perimeter fence at White Plains at 1125. Vera Cober spent time with her, and provided excellent Irma ID photos. The Billands spent 10-12 with Ewa Girl & Kekoa at the Reef Runway. Irma @ White Plains
