7-22-11 DB Dailies

Off and on showers made the first pass through the SE quadrant a bust. When I got back to Makai Pier at 0930 I found Nani (RK60) at the left end, and Buster (RV08) at the right end of the beach at Rabbit Island. They remained at those respective locations all day and were the cast for today. Incidently, the bird population began leaving this month, and there are just a few left on RI.

Team Billand checked in at 0850 to advise that Benny (RE74) had apparently overnighted fronting #1777 at Nimitz Cottages. He continues his rot (molting). Barbara guesstimates 40%.

At 1337 Dera called with the report of an animal in the trough at Magic Island. Posse person, Stacey Stella was on it, and at 1431 phoned in confirmation shots of Rocky (RH58) in the trough.

Interestingly, Team Billand checked in just a few minutes later reporting that T21M was just hauling out at Iroquois Point and "was going bonkers" looking for Rocky ! Pssst DJ.....da' trough.... check da' trough ! Rocky departed at 1923. Tomorrow ???
