Day 9 California Trip Day 6 Marine Mammal Center

Aloha Good People  First I apologize for the delays, between the time difference, server updates and exhaustion keeping up with the blog nightly has presented a challenge.... So, just note if I am late updating I will get to it as soon as I can.

Okay so Day 6 at the Marine Mammal Center was a special day in that Team Hawaii got to experience out first release for a group of baby elephant seals going back to the wild....  a truly amazing feeling to watch those cage doors open and they come out and head for the water (with a little coaxing).  You instantly understand why it is so important to do this work, and how it comes full circle..... and mostly that you made a real difference.

On the return trip back to the bay area from Monterey we did a little sight seeing and witnessed some amazing wildlife along the coast..... Enjoy the photos....  `da blog lady and team Hawaii~

Loading cages into van at TMMC
Crossing Golden Gate Bridge for 2 hour drive

Just some sea lions trying to catch a nap.... ALL AT THE SAME TIME
Hairy Otter wondering what we were up to
Tangled in the mounds of bodies is a mom and pup
Guess we aren't the only ones with signs.... Made us feel right at home!
