Hey Kenyon's!!! Where ya been??? Nice to have ya back with the Kaena Pt Treks. Really great shots of NOA, Kaena and Kerby...
We used to see Noa at Maili Pt daily and then he moved to Kaena Pt and been staying out there. Miss seeing him...he was fun to observe from day one at Campbells on a kind of rainy day. He got his tags at Campbells and his bleach too..he was thin back then. Now, he is happy being with seals near his age, sharing fun days in the sun together on the rocks...getting plump. Great water shot of Kaena...
Aloha Barbara, thanks for the note.
You asked. We been at:
Waahila Ridge Trail
Puu Pia Trail
Manoa Falls [been dry lately]
Aihualama Trail to Nuuanu Overlook
Old Pali Road and Pali Lookout
Mauanwili Falls
Waimano Trail
Manana Trail
Maakua Ridge Trail and Papali Gulch
La'ie Falls
Plus, worked some projects around the yard and it's shaping up real nice.
I had read about Noa on the blog and yesterday was first time we met him up close and personal--he's pretty cool. Not sure if we'll make the Kaena Point hike our weekly routine again or not. We love it out there, but don't want to wear out its charm. Guessing we'll probably hit the point a couple times a month...
I do enjoy reading about everybody's seal sightings here. You all are doing great work!
Take care,
Keith & Song
