3-3-2011 DB Dailies

The first order of business was a 0618 trip to Makapuu, where I found that Irma had overnighted. I redid the cordon, and continued the adventure. She has remained all day. I picked up the rope and called it a day at 1930. Irma remains.

At 0715 I found what would prove to be Sadie, 40 ft right of 3BS, and Duke , 70 ft left of Seal Rock Inlet,up in in the Morning Glory, on Rabbit Island. It was nice to have RI critters again after my 3 day drought. They both moved down to cool off , and remained all day.

As is usually the case, Team Billand found a ton of critters. At 0802 they reported that their posse member , Dave had called to report V014 at KoOlina , Lagoon#1. V014 now has new bling, He got his tags today, and is now R5EW/R5EX. I absolutely guarantee you that a call will come in reporting and animal with tags that say "SEX".

They found 2AW at Nanakuli at 0813.  A call from their posse member , John reported an animal at White Plains. When they arrived they found Kermit at LG tower #1.

Next came their Makaiwi find at 1050, fronting #1702 at Nimitz Cottages. She may well have overnighted. According to witnesses, she was run off at 1733 when she was hit by a Kite Surfer's kite.

At 1210 they found a chunky M&M once again at Palm Grove, Campbell Industrial Park. At 1257 they reported RO28 at Maili Point.

Dera called at 1058 with the report of an animal at Kawela Bay. Dera called at 1626 to advise that Jeannie Martinson had responded, however the animal had already departed.

At 1100 Ocean Safety (Lifeguards) reported an animal at Magic Island. Dana called at 1536 to report that volunteer Don had confirmed the Rocky ID. Thank you to Don &Kimo.
