3-28-11 DB Dailies

At 0629 I found RM38 waiting for me , 60 ft left of Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. When I got back to Makai Pier at 0915 I found that he had been joined by Duke (RA12) and Kolohe (RW22). They would all remain the entire day.

At 0933 Team Billand called with the highlight news of the day. They found Kermit (R4DG), Makaiwi R4DF), M&M (R020) and Max(R5EW), all at Palm Grove, Campbell Industrial Park. No more that 2 have ever been seen there before. As if that weren't enough at 1432 , R018 hauled out to join them !

Next the Billands reported Noa (R6FI) at Maili Pt at 1127.  At 1158 they found RB16 at Tracks.

At 0958, Dana called with the report of Pohaku (RO28) at Guard Rails Beach, Maili Pt.  At 1455 Dera called with the report of an animal in the trough at Magic Island. An email photo recieved from Dana at 1750 confirmed Rocky (RH58).   At 1622 Dera called with the report of an animal at 2E, in Waikiki. Dera confirmed Irma (R010) at 1641. Dana advised that Karen was responding.

Diane Pike emailed to report that RI15 pupped yesterday at Kalaupapa. It's their 2nd pup of the year .  Okay Diane how lucky are you it's only March and you have TWO pups.

 Karen Rohter reported Irma @ Waikiki hauled out around 4pm and was still there when she left at 8pm. Hope no-one goes strolling the beach tonight and stumbles on her.
