3-17-11 Meet Max (5EX/5EW)

Thanks to Team Billand our little 5EX V014 now has a name "Max". I know there must be a story behind the name... so Barb please explain.  Also what's the story with the black dog? Did he just pass by little Max?
So many questions and such great shots of this little cutie!

Oh shoots, again my comment didnt get through, so, let me explain the story all over.
First of all, we chose MAX because it is short, easy to say and it was the name of my very dear old dog who ment alot to our family. We had a hard time finding this little guy, been hunting for him since March 3 after his last sighting at Koolina where he was a major STAR out there.

The dog...a lady was walking the beach, we spotted her coming WITH THE LOOSE DOG. Rob approached her before entering Max ZONE. But the lady was not worried at all, for me I was having my second stroke. And when the little dog ran up to MAX, I was not waiting for a disater to stike any longer and got the dog. I told the lady, I will take this dog to the shelter, she replied..GO. He aint my dog, he just follows me. For two and a half hours we watched and guarded MAX. After 2:30, we bid him farewell...hoping the dog wouldnt eat him. We came back at 6pm to check on MAX..and to my delight, he was still there, in prayer mode, flippers crossed against his chest...He was so sweet lying there all alone, in peace. I had to leave him once more, reluctantly, praying he be ok. Hope to see ya again MAX, I already love you with my soul. Its tuff being a Volunteer and not get attached to a seal, they are the innocent ones. They are the ones who suffer daily, from HUMANS and DOGS. I hope this little seal grows old with us. Seal ya tomorrow MAX.

Hi Barbara, Thanks for the adorable photos of little Max. So Cute!

I have a suggestion...try copying your content before you publish it. That way if it doesn't go through you should be able to paste it back in instead of retyping everything. Diane
