On my arrival at MO at 0626 I found Ewa Girl and pup (D#32) doing the first of 5 observed feeds at the left end of the beach. Shortly thereafter they would enter the water for the first of 3 observed swims, each approximately one hour in duration.
Also at 0626 I found Sadie and Kolohe together, 60 ft right of 3BS. When I got back to MP at 0913 I found that Duke was on the water front rocks to the left of Sadie and Kolohe. He would galumph down to join them , and all 3 would enter the water for a swim/play session at 1027. Only Duke and Kolohe would haul out again from that session. They remained together the rest of the day. At 1330, Sadie would haul out at Rocky Right Beach at the far right end. She would remain there the rest of the day. Her D#7 molt is 70%.
At 0825 Team Billand reported Makaiwi (4DF) fronting #1701 at the Nimitz Cottages. She has remained there all day.
White Plains lifeguard , Bryan called at 1310 to report an animal just hauling out at the Ewa end of White Plains Beach. He said lifeguards were putting up signs and rope. Team Billand called at 1430 to advise that there were , in fact, two animals there, close together and tucked up against the wall which separates the beach from the grass , picnic area, and surround by a ZOO of people. Lo and Behold it was Rocky and RIP ! Rocky was just at Ala Moana day before yesterday, and RIP has only seen the SW quadrant one other time when he accompanied Ewa Girl to CIP. I'm putting RIP at the top of next year's Rocky
Kolohe and Duke
Sadie and Kolohe
