Watching the seals trying to find a spot to rest breaks my heart. THey continue, so innocently, hauling up in a spot that humans just dont want them at. Why? These are fossils in modern times..I wish more humans could see how special they are, let them come a shore to sleep. Thats it, thats all they want to do. They are innocent critters. Poor Rocky had to haul up in coconuts just to rest. But, she too had to find a new area, denying her rest, in Ewa Beach Park late yesterday afternoon. Was she safe there, did folks let her be? NO!! Man if a seal landed in my territory..they could stay for the rest of their lives! We just cant do enough for Rocky, Irma the pregnant seal, Kermit who has disappeared since Memorial Day Weekend, and who knows where the others have gone. How sad man can be, just no HEART or RESPECT..Monk Seals deserve a place...PERIOD!!! Who knows who will come up today...but we'll try our best to help them all out. I swear!!!
