At 0847 on one of many pans I found Kawena (RH36) newly arrived to Kaupo Beach Park. HMMA responded.
When I arrived at Makai Pier this morning at 0742, I had seen a trail leading up into the grasses, 90 ft right of 3BS. On a pan at 1053 I found the small J/M Unknown moving down from the grass to the water line.
Beginning at 0847 Team Billand began reporting foraging animals off shore of Maili Pt, and then individual haul outs through the day. Firstly, it was Kolohe (RW22), then Kekoa (RK72), then RW02, RK36 and finally RIP (RR70). Mark Sullivan was there and got an N22 bleach on Kolohe.
Diane & Lesley trekked to the Back of Beyond, and reported Kerby (RW08),once again high above the main pool, R3CU at the main pool, and Ka’ena (RO40) at Ka’ena’s pool.
Team Turgeau (Tammy& Dave) did the KP trek later in the day, and reported Kerby&R3CU at the main pool.
