At 0918 an adult female with 2 red tags hauled out to join Kea, and remained all day. Heat wave distortion from the North winds made an ID impossible. Nani would be at the top of my possibles list, but ??? I also believe this to be the almost hidden animal at the right end of RI yesterday but again ???
At 0850 on a routine look at Kaupo Beach Park, I spied a newly arrived Kawena (RH36). She would remain all day.
At 0704 Team Billand found Pohaku (RO28) at Maili Beach Park.
A Tammy T text at 0724 reported Luana (RN58) at Hidden Beach, on the north side trail to Ka’ena Point. At Ka’ena Pt, at Tammy found Kerby (RW08) well up the hillside amongst the Naupaka.
Team Billand checked in again at 0910 to report Kekoa (RK72)& Ka’ale (RH32) at Maili Point. They would be joined at 0928 by RN14, and then at 1036 Kolohe (RW22) joined the gang. At 1345 RK36 would join the gang.
At 1115 the Billands found RW02 at Puka Pants Beach, Nanakuli.
