We enjoyed Kathleen's lecture on Monk seals. Sorry to hear the NWHI seals and the pups are struggling to survive. It would be so nice if someone, some organization would donate millions to save all the pups out there at NWHI. Too bad land is so expensive here. Wouldnt it be Awesome to have our very own Marine Mammal Center?? I'm sad to hear Galopogas Sharks are killing the pups who are already starving from lack of food. We thank all those going to the NWHI for their observations, data, deworming, countless days helping monk seals. It is heart breaking seeing the underweight pups in NWHI. I pray some day, monk seals have a better survivor rate and swim the oceans in good health and peace. Thanks Kathleen for an excellent talk. We all learned a lot.
