Irma and friend - what is amazing about this picture is Team Billand met this man today out at windsock when they were checking on Irma. Barb said she enjoyed his company and wanted to take his picture.... Funny.... this guy is a good friend's father, I have known his family for 15 years. What a surprise to see the photo..... Can't wait to tease him about it.

Thanks to all those that helped out with the many seals that came a shore.
Nice to meet up with Heide and Piper, sweet little girl, HI SCOT!
Too bad Kermit got runned off by the party group at Nimitz. He came back about 100 feet down the beach again. I talked to some of the party people...I said, "I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY FOLKS FIND RUNNING A SEAL OFF THE BEACH IS FUN!!! I find it MEAN and DISRESPECTFUL, these seals suffer every day. All we have to do..is let them BE!!! Look at the poor seal, not saying a dam word, not doing NOTHING but sleeping. They are critically ENDANGERED!!! CLOSE TO EXTINCTION!!! Protected by laws...etc!!"
Then Rob and I just LEFT site...the BASE POLICE THAT DANA CALLED.....NEVER CAME. Once upon a time...THE BASE POLICE WERE AWESOME and came to help us out.
NOw, we call....there is NO RESPONSE. HOW SAD.
In the end, after running back and forth, getting some help...all five seals stayed on shore, we took all the ropes down from each seal...bid them a good night with many prayers said...SO PEOPLE LET THEM BE!!!!
