3-16-2013 DB's Dailies:Sadie&Pup (D#3),Nani,Duke&Aukai@RI, Kaiwi@SC&LL, RA36@HB, Ka'ena@KP, R5AY@Kualoa, Noa&RIP@Maili Pt

At 0700 I found Sadie&Pup (RB12) (D#3) at the Waimanalo end of the beach on Rabbit Island. They would once again venture out onto the left end rock flats for the day.

At 0722 I found Nani (RK60) just hauling out 50 ft right of 3BS on RI. She would remain there all day.

On my Spitting Cave check at 0754 I found Kaiwi (RK96) doing 5 minute dives.

When I got back to Makai Pier I found Aukai (RL12) and Duke (RA12) just hauling out to the right of Seal Rock Inlet, with Aukai in the lead. Duke would follow her up to her favorite gnarly tree branch , driftwood, where she spent the rest of the day, but he returned to the water a 1027.

At 1037 I noticed Sadie alerting to something and sure enough it was Duke hauling out onto the rock flats. She kept him at bay all day, but he was near her and the pup all day, keeping a safe distance away. She barked and lunged several times, but the guy just wouldn't take the hint. Since he is her little , 3 year old, juvenile brother, I doubt he was of much concern but he was a pain in the ass.
Gayle called at 1233 to advise that she was with Kaiwi (RK96) at Lanai Lookout.

Jack at the Bay called at 1245 with word that "N17" had hauled out at the far right end of Hanauma Bay, well away from the maddening crowd, but still a source of interest for HB goers.

When I arrived at 1300 I confirmed the RA36 ID, and we cordoned him off. He was still there when we picked up the stuff and HB's closing time of 1800.

Team Billand checked in at 0713 with the report of Kermit (R012) at LG Tower#2, White Plains. He had overnighted.

Marilyn & Lesley checked in from the end of the world at 1119, with the report of Ka'ena (RO40) all by himself at Ka'ena Point.

Cianna called at 1209 with the report of a probable R5AY at Kualoa Pt. I've heard no further word.

At 1251 Team Billand found Noa (R6FI) and RIP (RR70) at Maili Point.

Cianna called at 1836 with a report of "N8", Kerby (RW08), and "N32" at Ka'ena Point. I've recieved no confirmation at this writing.
