From the Makapuu Overview, at 0640 I spied a Phat Chick near 1BS on Rabbit Island and I thought I saw something small by her. I raced to Makai Pier , only to find that the smaller animal was in fact Kolohe (RW22). Oh yes.... the phat chick was, of course Sadie (RB12) .She would remain all day, relocating first to 3BS, and later to the Waimanalo end of the beach, where she remained the rest of the day. On my last check at 1800 she was still there, and still alone. Tomorrow ?????

In addition to Sadie and Kolohe I also found Buster (RV08) just to the right of 1BS at the base of the cliff. Buster would depart at 1328.

Unfortunately, the critters were not alone. 50 ft to their right I found a skiff pulled on onto the beach, and when I panned to the left end of the beach, there were two, male throw netters. At 0723 as they moved back toward the right end of the island they walked right at Kolohe and Sadie (0723), both of whom alerted. Kolohe would hastily depart, but Sadie remained. After throwing all the way to the Makapuu end of the island they returned to their boat and departed at 0828. DOCARE had been called at 0800 when they opened for business, and DOCARE Officers met the duo upon their arrival at Kaiona Beach Park at 0847.

Gayle called at 0824 with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) at Spitting Cave.

Gayle called again at 0936 with the report of Irma (R010) at Irma's Grotto, Kokee.

Gayle called once again at 1246 to advise that Kaiwi was now at Lanai Lookout.

Team Billand called at 0640 with the report of R912 at Guard Rails Beach, Maili.

At 0730 Dera called with the report of an animal at the Hale Koa in Waikiki. Dana would confirm the Rocky (RH58) ID at 1008. Thank you Karen for the Rocky shot.

At 0956 the Billands reported Kermit (R012) fronting #1777 Nimitz Cottages.

Posse member Jen Christian called at 1042 with the report of RI37 at Sunset Beach.

Team Billand called at 1338 to advise that Pohaku (RO28) had been at Lagoon#2, but she was gone when they arrived. They would find her at Secrets at 1411. Pohaku would depart at 1456.
