2-26-2013 DB's Dailies:Sadie,Pup&Kolohe@RI, Buster@SB, RIP,M&M@WP, Benny@KCG

At 0658 I found Sadie & Pup (RB12 (D#14), doing a feed , up in the Morning Glory, left of 1BS on Rabbit Island. They would later move to the water line at the left end of the beach , where they remained the rest of the day, doing another swim session, and 2 more feeds.

At 0712 I found a newly arrived Kolohe (RW22) to the water front rocks of Rocky Right Beach, on RI. He would relocate to the left end at 1206 were he briefly checked on Sadie & Pup from a distance, then rolling back to the water, and hauling out again at his starting point at 1219, where he remained the rest of the day.

Gayle called at 1250 with the report of a newly arrived animal to the east end of Sandy Beach. When I arrived at 1300, I found Buster (RV08). I cordoned him off, and he has remained the rest of the day. I picked up the rope at 1930. Buster remains.
Team Billand reported RIP (RR70) at #1707, White Plains.

At 0723 they found Benny (RE74) at Kalaeloa Campgrounds.

At 1122 the Billands advised that Laurie had reported the arrival of M&M(R020) to join RIP, at #1707. The two would do a swim session from 1230 until 1440, when they hauled out together fronting #1706.

There have been interesting developments on the Temp 412 (N32) front. Lesley's shots of N32, on Saturday at KP, and Diane's shots from yesterday at Turtle Bay, got my few remaining brain cells firing and when I compared the N32 photos to my photo database it appeared that Temp 412/N32 is not a new animal at all, but is, in fact, BG (Benny's Girl) (R303). Sean concurred with that finding today.

D. Schofield forwarded a couple of shots of Sadie & Pup at RI, yesterday, taken from the NOAA OLE boat. photos are "courtesy NOAA permit 932-1905 !!!
