While Rabbit Island was certified Monk Seal free today, it was nevertheless an important day. It was Landing Day for the Sooty Terns and Brown Noddys. There won't be quiet moment from now till the end of July.

At 1050 Gayle called with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) and Kolohe (RW22) together at Lanai Lookout. This was Kolohe's first recorded visit to this location.

Posse member Linda called at 1140 with the report of an animal on the Kokee Flats. When I arrived at 1204 I found RA36. This is his first recorded visit to this location.

Tatiana called at 1223 with the report of an animal at the Kealahou traffic light (Irma's). When I arrived at 1244 , to my complete surprise I found RK36 (R4DJ). This was our first meeting, and his first recorded visit to the SE quadrant, and Irma's. He departed at 1910.

At 0650 Team Billand reported Benny (RE74), overnighted at #1708, White Plains.

At 0754 they reported the arrival of RIP (RR70) to #1708.

At 0810 Marilyn called to advise that she and Lesley had found RL42 at her Keaau Bridge hangout. She had last been seen on 2-21-13, so it was great to see her.

Marilyn & Lesley would do their Ka'ena Point trek today, and once again found only Ka'ena (RO40) at the end of the world.

At 1230 the Billands reported Noa (R6FI) and Kerby (RW22), once again together at Maili Point.

At 1240 the Billands called to advise that Clay had called to report Rocky (RH58) in the construction zone, at Iroquois Point.
