Only idiots and Monk Seals were out there today. To all my fellow idiots....Thank You, Ya' Done Good !!!

At 0718 I found Aukai (RL12) snuggled into her "cave" behind Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. She never left the cave today, though she did look up a couple of times and thought, Nah, and went back to sleep. She and a few gazillion birds had the whole soggy place to themselves.

At 0739 Kimo called with the report of an animal at Spitting Cave, but pouring rain made an ID difficult. He would later view his shots, and confirmed that it was Kolohe (RW22). Kolohe departed at 0820.

At 0933 I found Kaiwi (RK96) doing 5 minute dives at Spitting Cave. She was still there when I got tired of being dumped on and departed at 1030.

Gayle checked in after her rounds , around noon, to confirm that Sandy Beach and Lanai Lookout had nobody.

Team Billand called at 0730 with the report of RIP (RR70) at #1707 , White Plains.

At 0949 they reported Kermit (R012) , on the rocks at Paradise Cove.

At 1249 they found Noa (R6FI) already up, and Kerby (RW0) just hauling out at Maili Point. They got washed off the rocks by big waves and a rising tide, at 1300.

At 1417 Team Billands reported M&M (R020) fronting #1708, White Plains
