It was a bumper croppa' critters today. I hope I can get it all reported without messing up tooooo badly.

At 0645 I found a D#3, 85% molted Duke (RA12) waiting for me at Right Middle Cliff on Rabbit Island.

At 0901 Aukai (RL12) would haul out to the water front rocks, 70 ft left of Duke, but she would return to the water at 0946. At 1205 she would haul out again and this time galumphed to Duke. There was just minimal interaction, but both remained there together the rest of the day.

At 0806 Gayle reported Buster (RV08) at Lanai Lookout. but it would be a short come, look , leave event.

Gayle would report the arrival of Kaiwi (RK96) to Lanai Lookout at 1005. Buster would haul out to join her for a 10 to 12 minute stay at 1030. He would return to check on her at 1503, and at 1645. staying on the last haul out according to Gayle. At 1400 Dana called with the report of an animal at Blowhole, but I found nobody when I arrived at 1407. There is zero doubt in my mind that it was Buster in cruiser mode, but ????

Posse member Mark called from Ewa Beach at 0710 reporting 3 animals behind his house. Team Billand would respond and confirm that it was RIP (RR70) and M&M (R020) together at Access 186B, and Rocky (RH58) down the beach a bit at Access 186A. RIP & M&M would depart at 0900. Rocky would be reported again by Vera Cober at the Pohakupuna end of EB at 1344, and Clay Gates would report her at Iroquois Point at 1420.

At 0737 Team Billand found Benny (RE74) at 1703, Nimitz Cottages. According to witnesses he arrived between 0645 and 0715, and departed at 0803 heading west.

At 0851 the Billands called to say that Dera had called with the report of Pohaku's arrival at Nanakai Beach. She had not been there on their earlier check. Debbie would do most of the duty with her, and apparently had trouble with one idiot, but the cops straightened him out. Pohaku would depart at 1300.

At 0928 Team Billand found Irma (R010) at 187A, Oneula Place, Ewa Beach.

Dana called at 0946 to advise that volunteers had reported finding La'akea (RK82) at yesterday's location Turtle Bay side of Kahuku Point.

R5AY&pup on D#1 were reported to be happy and well at Turtle Bay. Thank you Karen Turner for the shots.

R912&Pup were also said to be enjoying the day on D#33 at Mokuleia.

Dera called with the report from a snorkeler at the "Publics" surf spot in Waikiki at 1118 reporting an up close and personal visit with "W22". That is Kolohe from Rabbit Island. He has been MIA out this way for a couple of days. Now I know why !!!
