At 0626 I found Duke (RA12), 40% molted on D#2, at Left Middle Cliff on Rabbit Island. He would move down to cool off at mid morning and remained the rest of the day.

At 1227 , from Makapuu Overview I found Aukai (RL12) at 3BS on RI. She was only partially visible from Makai Pier.

I got a call from an unknown posse member at 1127 reporting an animal trying to haul out at the far east end of Sandy Beach. When I arrived at 1134 tbere was nobody there, however many witnesses confirmed the incident. I checked the beaches from Sandy Beach to Kaupo Beach Park but never found anyone. I did speak with a person at Kaiwi Cove who got a cell/phone shot, but it was inconclusive. While it may well be anybody, this is classic Benny behavior, but ????

Team Billand reported Pohaku (RO28) at Nanakai Beach, Maili. She would depart at 1615.

At 0842 the Billands advised that Clay Gates had called to report that Rocky (RH58) had overnighted at Iroquois Point. Rocky would depart IRQ at 0900. Posse members Mark & Moe reported Rocky at Ewa Beach at 1620.

Missus Whisperer and posse member Ken Tingman did the Ka'ena Point trek today, and reported 2AW, Ka'ena (RO40), Noa (R6FI), and RB00 at the end of the world. This is the first sighting of B00 since 4-26-12. For those of you not familiar with the "family tree", B00 is Rocky's 2007 daughter. Ken aways provides great shots but today was especially vital, since Marilyn's camera decided not to work. Thank You Ken !!!

Diane Gabriel and Karen Turner were out and about today and at 1406 reported finding La'akeaa (RK82) on the Turtle Bay side of Kahuku Point, and Right Spot (R016) on the Kahuku side of Kahuku Point.

LIVE.........LOCAL..........LATE BREAKING !!!!!! Diane Gabriel called at 1533 with "THE" call. She and Karen Turner had observed R5AY pupping, down aways from the Keiki Pond at Turtle Bay !!!
