5-6-2012 DB Dailies: Buster&Kolohe@RI, Kaiwi@SC, Irma@Waikiki, Rocky@SC, Noa@Maili Pt, Kekoa@RR

At 0624 I found what would prove to be Kolohe (RW22) snoozin' in the Morning Glory, 40 ft left of 1BS, on Rabbit Island. He would later relocate.

At 0711 I found Buster (RV08) just hauling out, 60 ft right of 3BS. He would move up, and into the grass, thereby pissing off alotta' birds. Buster couldn't care less as he went to snooze mode. At 0940 he would move down to cool off, and at 0946 Kolohe galumphed out of the water to join him. There was only minimal interaction. Both went quickly back to snooze mode. At 1148 with the tide rising, Kolohe entered the water, and Buster followed at 1149. I saw neither again today.

At 0836 posse member Kathy found Kaiwi (RK96) at Spitting Cave. Distressingly, she was right back at the point, where she got into the hook trouble, and once again there were fishermen directly above her. Thankfully, she later moved to the right side of the big rock, well away from hooks. She was last seen by the Elves at noon.

Irma (R010) was back in Waikiki again today, midway between Lifeguard stands 2F & 2E. Diane called to advise that Irma had departed at 1230, headed in a Diamond Head direction.

Team Billand called at 0750 with word of a Phat Chick near the fence line at White Plains. At 0845 they confirmed the Rocky (RH58) ID. She would depart at 1011. This is the first time I can remember that Rocky has graced the shores of White Plains.
