Volunteer Appreciation Gathering at Schooners

Aloha Good People!

Tonight (Saturday) we had a wonder gathering to let the volunteers know how much they are appreciated. HMSRTO sponsored the gathering at Schooners Restaurant at Pearl Harbor and we had a great turnout. There was good food, good cheer, some special prizes, an overall good time. We would like to thank David, Jeff, Dera and Tracy for joining us in this celebration.  Jim Brown shared his wonderful footage of R5AY and Ua Malie...   Robert and Barbara made a quick stop by, so good to see them but they only stayed for a little bit and then ran back to check on Benny ( are we surprised? I think not).

For those of you who weren't able to make it, you were missed and we hope to have another opportunity to do this again.  The Hawaiian Monk Seal Response Team Oahu (HMSRTO)  would like to say THANK YOU to all volunteers, all you do is a huge contribution to protecting the Hawaiian monk seals.
