Mele Kalikimaka, well I thought we were going to get skunked today,but.... We had hiked nearly 3 miles without seeing critter, when all of a sudden it was though someone sprinkled monk seal pixie dust. A couple seals here, one there,a couple heads in tide pools one, scratching his back on the rocks. (We saw 10, positive id on 8.) We had seals all over the place. They were all enjoying a peaceful Christmas eve day.
Fortunately we did not have to encounter any red rivers or slog thru too much mud to see our seals.
