12/5/2010 DB Dailies

On my 0725 look at Rabbit Island I found Buster snoozin' in the grass behind Seal Rock Inlet at the right end of the beach. He would later move down, allowing the ID, and remained the one and only RI resident today.

A Makapuu lifeguard called t 1136 to advise of an animal just hauling out at the right end of the beach. When I arrived at 1145 I found Irma, and cordoned her off. She has remained the rest of the day. This marks her 5th visit to Makapuu. I picked up the rope at 1900. Irma remains.

Team Billand called at 0750 to report Kermit at Tower #1, White Plains. Witnesses said that Benny had
been at White Plains earlier, but had departed around 0500. Benny would return to join Kermit at 0951. The had some words initially, but coexisted the rest of the day.

Dana called at 1200 about a reported I38 at Pokai Bay. Team Billand confirmed the RI37 ID at 1300. RI37 had last been seen at Shark's Cove on 11-20-10.

The Billands found a 70 % molted 2AW at Tracks at 1340.

Irma
Buster
Kermit and a spare
No wonder Benny didn't attack the inner tube
