12/23/2010 DB Dailies

The Rabbit Island crew for today began at 0728 with M38 to the right of 1BS , where he has overnighted for 2 nights, and Kolohe on the water front rocks at Rocky Right Beach at the right end of the island. At 0906 Duke hauled out to the far left end of the beach, and all remained at RI the entire day.

Team Billand reported Benny at Maili Pt at 0943.  At 1150 the found that Irma had overnighted at Wind Sock, Kalaeloa Beach. 

I got a call from a White Plains lifeguard at 1212 reporting two animals in the cottage area. At 1228, Team Billand confirmed Kermit fronting #1708, and Ewa Girl fronting #1775.  At 1654 the Billands called with the report of Rocky at Iroquois Point. 

Marilyn did the long , hard, red mud schlage to Ka'ena Point. What did she get for her effort ? Absolutely Nothin' ....Huh!!! That makes for a reeeeeeeally long trek back !

Marylin! Ya done good, you went out on a mission, to find seals. Ya didnt find any. THats ok...cause we know on this day of Dec. 23rd, no seals hung out at Kaena Pt. Hey, you got some sun, fresh air, them legs working fine. Got a little grubby, thats fine too. I appreciate your work, your endurance out at Kaena. You are living LIFE. Thats a good thing..so, dont be bummed..you did good. And you came home in one piece, sweaty, but, ok. Hey, next time, it will be even BETTER!!! By the way, did you see WHALES out there????
