On my first Rabbit Island look I found Sadie, tucked into the base of the left end cliff, 30 ft left of 1BS, and Benny, flopped on his back, 70 ft right of 3BS. When I got back to Makai Pier at 0830 I found that RIP had hauled out to join Sadie at 1BS. At 0952 Duke hauled out to 1BS, and moved to join RIP and Sadie who were now down near the water line to cool off. RIP registered his unhappiness about Duke's trying to get too close to Sadie, and Duke got the hint and moved off 15 ft away. Later, once things calmed down, Duke moved in close to the other two with no problems at all.
At1220 Kolohe hauled out to 3BS, and began galumphing to join Benny, right of 3BS. He halted a respectful 10 ft away from Benny, and remained at that distance the rest of the day. Benny registered absolutely no reaction whatsoever to Kolohe's presence. Benny still has a small tuft of old coat on his butt. He is 98% molted on D#18 of his molt, which is ell beyond the norm. Benny just has to do things a little different.
