Lucky Lesley went down to the beach at first light and found R330 Squinty, RK36 Kauai Kolohe and R303 BG all at birth beach. We all think this is cool to be just go out and check on THREE seals but Lesley mentioned there is a problem.... she can still smell them when she's in the house, almost like the stink is stuck in her nostrils LOL!
Posse Pal Vicki found Holokai RG40 out at Turtle Bay, he really seems to like this spot. She also checked in on RJ16 (PO4) snoozing his time away. Thank you Vicki!
Team Billand once again found Pohaku (RO28) at Depots (day 3) At 5:45 am they found her high up by the Lifeguard Tower all quiet this early. They left a message with the hotline. At 7:00 am Ted Kearns from NOAA arrived to check out the area and Barbara noticed a NOAA boat just offshore. Team Billand departed at 9 am and noted Pohaku is about 40% molted.
Next stop Maili where they found RR70 RIP on the rocks fighting the crashing waves. He's looking healthy and green.
Evening mail from Lesley with pictures of Kimo going for a late afternoon surf and three critters still on the beach. Thank you Lesley!
