At 1129 what would prove to be Kekoa (RK72) hauled out from Seal Rock Inlet and galumphed to RG32. After a brief stay he would roll back to the inlet and entered the water. RG32 followed and both entered the water at 1144. I believe Kekoa to be the U/M of the last 2 days at RI.
I would get a glimpse of them playing off shore of RI, but by 1230 began to see that there was only a single animal checking the beach front. At 1250 Kekoa would haul out alone to Rocky Right Beach, which is when I got the ID. I did not see RG32 again today.
At 0831 Team Billand checked in with the report of Lei Ola (RH48) at Maili.
Darlene (of Todd & Darlene fame) called at 0920, advising that they were watching Kaiwi (RK96), foraging directly below their Gold Coast Condo. ID was by bleaches both natural and N96. She was headed east, so being the outstanding posse that they are, they immediately went to Makalei BP, and sure enough there was Kaiwi, HMMS was on the scene per Darlene.
While D&T heard that Rocky was at Fort Derussy. They were on their way but got waylaid when they stopped by their condo. A quick recheck of Makalei confirmed Kaiwi was gone (tide). T&D photos confirmed the Rocky ID at Ft Derussy.
At 1510 Team Billand reported Kerby (RW08) foraging off shore of Maili (and Lei Ola). Tide and waves are high.
