4/9/2017 In Addition: Lesley's Ka'ena Point Update

Went out to the point again today with some friends.
Out at the point we found RO40 Ka'ena in his pool in the exact position we left him yesterday(!!!)
In the main pool we spotted R3CU doing his entrance and RW02 PV Kauai going for him - he had also overnighted where we left him yesterday As RW02 made it As RW02 made it out of the pool and another seal showed up in the outside pool RK36 Kauai Kolohe made his way into the pool and checked on R3CU his body language made me look back and there was a big seal the scar on his back made me think it could be RR70 Rip he didn't come in the pool but swam around and hauled out on the Back Beach.
All seals were IDed by tags scars and sex. They were all called into the hotline.
As yesterday when I reported the seals I suggested that volunteers be sent out since there was a big fishing tournament going on and it would have been a GREAT opportunity for doing outreach,, but that there was no need for them to be dispatched for IDing seals cause that was covered.

On our way out today we g=had a big bonus a delicious swim in Manili Cove- what a treat.
