Posse member Jamie called at 1134 to advise that posse member Bautista had reported 3 seals at Toilet Bowl, Hanauma Bay. When my aching ol' bones got down there at 1226 I found Buster (RV08), Kaiwi (RK96) &RG32 all snoozin' around the bowl.
Team Billand checked in at 0710 with the report of Ka'ale (RH32) at Maili. An unknown animal was forging off shore but no ID was possible.
At 0948 they found Pohaku (RO28) at Depots's. She would be joined at 0952 by RIP (RR70).

Sitting with a Hawaiian Monk Seal is PRICELESS.
PROTECTING THEM FROM MAN...a special, honorable job.
Educating humans of leaving them a lone...a task.
Having them rest on shore in a zone...rewarding.
Seeing them leave after a good rest...JOYFUL.
Being a volunteer, an unpaid staff, public caller...what ever you call me...?????
I love all our seals...they need us all weather volunteer, unpaid staff, a public caller..citizen..or HMMA...THEY NEED EACH OF US to survive.
I can not leave an animal for others to play with....its just not right. Hawaiian Monk Seals, DESERVE a PLACE IN LIFE...Let us all join in ...PROTECT WHAT IS LEFT.
I am honored to take part in PROTECTING ANY SEAL, any place, any time, DAILY. THEY ARE OUR TREASURE...Sweet innocent LIVING FOSSILS.
Hey Kerby RW08...in a few days, on the 20th...You will be NINE YEARS OLD. WOW. Love you kid. Safe journey.
