At 0753 Warren & Lisa found what would prove to be Kolohe (RW22) at Maili Point. At 0814 he would be joined by Kekoa (RK72). Melina Clark would also document them later in the day. Mahalos Melina!
At 0809 Warren advised that Marie was with two animals at Makua Beach, and that one had a fishing. The two would prove to be Benny (RE74), and a hooked R5AY. NOAA personnel responded and the hook was successfully removed. Mahalos to Marie & daughter for being on it, and to Warren & Lisa who also responded to that site.
Tammy & Dave checked in from the end of the world, at 0927. They spent quality time with Ka’ena (RO40), RW02, RK36, and Aukai (RL12) at Ka’ena Point.
A Dana text in the afternoon advised that Cass (RG06) had been reported, foraging at Spitting Cave. ID was by her “G07" tag.
It’s just a guess, but an evening check of Instagram brought a comment and a photo about somebody with a spot in middle of “his” head, cruisin’ through a Waikiki sighting this morning. Sounds like an MIA Kaiwi to me, but ????
