Also at 0649 I found Kainoa (RN04), in the Morning Glory, 50 ft right of 3BS, and Cass (RG06) also in the vegetation, 100 ft right of 3BS.
When I got back to Makai Pier at 0804 I found that RM38 had joined the cast, having hauled out to right Middle Cliff. At 0820 , by pure luck, I looked up from the scope to see RG32, 100 ft off the lanai where I was sitting. I didn’t get a shot, but saw his L5 bleach, before he departed.
At 0854 he arrived just off shore of RM38, who would rush to join him in the water. Both would haul out to join Kainoa at 0940. All 3 would return to the water. I did not see RM38 or RG32 again.
Kainoa would pop up again, hauling out and sneaking up on Sadie&Pup. Silly boy... She caught him red flippered. He beat flipper outta’ there ! He would next be seen hauling out to join Cass for the rest of the day.
At 0649 The Billands checked in with the report of an animal at Nanakuli. At 0709 they confirmed Benny (RE74) ID. He would depart at 0803.
At 0824 they found RIP (RR70) at Maili Point.
On a check at 1351 Team Billands found Kekoa (RK72) at Maili Point. RIP had departed.
At 1527 Tammy T., texted to advise that she was with Carola & Holokai (RG40) at the Elbow, Turtle Bay.
