Aloha Good People
Here are some incrediable shots of our little Kerby who is looking quite green these days.
Hi Donna,
Here is a link to some photos I took around noon today of Kerby at Kaena Point. Unfortunately, NOAA didn't think that he was in a spot where they could safely get the hook removed. Hopefully, he will beach soon. Poor guy!

Ouchie wowie. Poor baby. Hopefully soon to get that nasty hook out. Thanks to all the wonderful people keeping an eye on this guy. What great pics to let us all know what we need to do to get the great NOAA dehooking group out to help this boy. They are awesome. Soon little guy, soon.
Looking at those awesome shots of Kerby is PAINFUL. I cant imagine how he must feel with that Giant Hook dangling from his mouth, trying to sleep on the rocks. And how can we prevent all these hooked seals from occuring again and again. Too bad Kaena Pt. is not a good place to dehook the kid. Too bad none of us can get it across to all seals...STAY AWAY FROM HOOKS. Good photography work. Appreciate the long hot walk to find Kerby. It is so disappointing, after locating the seal, nothing can be done. I am hoping Kerby will take a long swim back to R.I. so NOAA can help him out and FREE HIM AGAIN!!! Come on Kerby, swim your but over to R.I. NOW!! Daddy DB is waiting, watching out for you. Lets keep the faith that all will be ok.

Educate the fisherpeople that they can catch as many fish with either barbless hooks or by taking pliers and flattening out the barbs on their hooks.
Thanks for the amazing pictures- wow- I wish we could come up with a plan to help this guy- !
OUCH! Great photos Diane! Hope he will move to a more accessible location very soon!
