01/03/2023 Tuesday's Dailies

They had a very slow seal day today. They has searched and waited around for seals, but came up empty. They did see boobies flying about looking for fish. They also saw a big Manta swimming about.

Finally at another west side location they were thrilled to see seals. There was RM31 Kai on lower rocks. His brother RP30 Puka was mid to high rocks. And then in the playboy pond was RW02 PvKauai. There was some wave action happening while they were there.

Jan 2, 2023 Monday's Dailies

Their first stop they were looking around and didn't see any seals. They did watch a whale being followed by a tour boat, which is a no no.

Then suddenly they caught a glimpse of movement on the rocks. It was RN14 Kalani hauling in.

The waves were big again with rough waters.

Boobie birds were busy in flight and catching fish.

At another west side location they found one seal on lower rocks. The waves were hitting the seals body, then rolling him around. There was RM31 Kai who had been snoozing but now he was getting pushed around. Then a set came in knocking him into the water, so he gave up and went foraging.

Still at the site they see another seal off the rocks playing with two other seals. The next one to haul out was RP30 Puka, tags visible and his cc scar on right side of belly.

It took him a bit to land fighting the current and waves. But he was determined and made his way at seal inlet up to higher mid rock and was safe.

They had been looking out at the water and saw two adult seals. They could not get an ID despite being there for over an hour and a half they just couldn't get anything. They were reported as unknown adults.

Jan 1, 2023 Sunday's Dailies

Happy New Year !

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕

Their first find of the day was while they were at the bay. They found one seal on the rocks enjoying the sun. A friend kept the folks back while the seal was resting. They were thrilled to ID was Kai RM31.

Next they went to another west side location and found two seals on site. RW02 PvKauai was alone a lower rocks. Next was RH76 Kala hauling in and landed to the right.

Arriving at Kahe they were happy and overjoyed to find RN14 Kalani up on the rocks. They

were happy he wasn't staying at KoOlina anymore.

They happen to pan the area and found a seal hauled up, snuck up on them from afar. There was a woman sitting within 10 ft of the seal. By the time they got to the site the seal was gone. They're fairly sure it was Nalu R3CX who had been at this location for almost a week. They waited around since they have experienced him returning, but he did not while they were there.

They headed over to tracks and were surprised to see another seal hauled up on shore. It was high up by the bushes right in the area loaded with people, and some loose dogs.
