At 0753 on Rabbit Island I found Kainoa (RN04) and RG32 up in the grass, right of 3BS. They would move down, and remained all day.
At 1000 Gayle called with the report of an animal at China Walls. When I arrived at 1027 I confirmed the Buster (RV08) ID, by tags. I was glad to see the boy. He has been MIA since 2-4-16 when I saw him foraging right off my office at Makai Pier.
At 0727 a Colleen text advised that Rocky was gone from her Kaimana Beach hangout.
At 0745 Team Billand reported RK36 hauled out to Maili Point. At 0852 they reported that Kekoa(RK72), RIP(RR70)&Kolohe(RW22) had join him. Kimo Kai (RT12) would arrive next but remained off to the right of the group.
At 1057 they would report the arrival of RL42 to Makua Cliffs.
At 1142 they found Benny (RE74) at LahiLahi Beach.
The NOAA team ventured off to Ka’ena Point again today, but found only RW02 which they had already gotten yesterday. I found out that RW02 is now sporting new bling. In addition to his old tag he now has a brand new R W04 &RW14 tags.
They had considered a west side run but decided against it, due to animal locations and lateness of the day, and also thought about a SE quadrant run to do Buster, but he had departed at 1300.
The Billands advised, at 1541, that they were responding to a Dana text about an injured seal at KoOlina. At 1600 they texted that Pohaku (RO28) was snoozin’ on the rocks at L#4, KoOlina, and appeared normal.
A Lusi Perry text at 1855 advised that Nani (RK60) was once again at Fort Hase Beach, MCBH. She said that Tony was on the scene. Lusi texted at 1900 that Tony had advised that Nani had departed.

Hi Ka'ena RO40 and Luana RN58 were also at Ka'ena Pt when NOAA was there but they were up on the rocks and there were too many people around so they decided not to try to Vaccinate these 2 who were on the Priority List.
