At 0716 I glimpsed Sam's white belly in the waters off shore of 1BS. He would not haul out until 1228, at 1BS. He would get to meet RIP a couple of times through the day.
On my 0735 Spitting Cave check I found Buster doing 6 minute dives.
When I got back to Makai Pier at 0930 I found that Duke had joined the cast to the right of 3BS. He would remain all day.

Team Billand reported Kermit at Wind Sock, Kalaeloa Beach at 0645. He has remained there all day.
The Billands found 4DF fronting #1705, at the Nimitz Cottages at 0703. She departed mid afternoon.
I had known nothing at all about the whereabouts of Rocky until I got home this afternoon and found a Colleen email saying that Diamond Head was Rocky free, and that Dera had told her that Rocky was at "Rockpiles" this morning, A subsequent conversation with Dera cleared up the story. Rocky had , in fact, hauled out to the little strip of beach between Hilton Hawaiian Village, and the Ala Wai Boat Harbor, where she and Buster spent a day several weeks ago. An evening call from Dera advised that Rocky is still there.
During that same telephone conversation with Dera I learned that a couple of orange floaters had been discovered in the pond at the R5AY & Pup site. Dana called at 1710 to advise that Todd White had removed the floaters with attached hooks. Thank You Todd !!
RIP, Buster and Duke

There's no mention in the blog but is that a snorkler in the photo with Buster? Diane
Wow Diane, didn't even see that until you mentioned it... but good call. I will leave it up to DB to comment on that, but between the two of you... You get the eagle eye award!
