Team Billand arrived at the outfall early morning and spotted a seal rushing out of the outfall towards tracks. From afar the seal landed, then left area making its rounds along the shoreline. There was a group of people fishing and one guy threw a rock at the seal and that is when Team Billand lost sight of it. They reported this critter as an unknown male U/M.
At 9 am they found RG28 at a west side location. He was snuggled up against the rocks with waves surrounding him. He wasn't bothered and kept snoozing the morning away. He was the only seal at this location today.
Team Billand went to the Bay once again and spotted four seals out foraging and then they were fighting and playing. This went on for hours! At one point they could see R3CX Nalu's fishing line from the right corner of his mouth. RL20 Kalua's line was also still there and visible.
Lei Ola RH48 was foraging and there was one point when she was in the school of fish. RN44 was also foraging and sticking close to Miss Lei Ola.
