12/02/2020 (part 2 ) Wednesday Lesley's Ka'ena Update

I had my octopus' outfit today those Big Waves crashing all night kept us up wondering what we'd find at daylight.

We had the park partially closed because of the waves and because there was a film production going on.
Needless to say it was a spectacular day, wildlife and nature at their best.
RL98 Lina was hauled out solo in the morning then in the afternoon RK40 Napua had joined her. Those 2 girls have a great bond going on. They have been seen together several times lately. The fact that Napua comes to her is really cool.
RO40 Ka'ena is still in his molting fase and has been overnighting in his old stomping grounds for several days now. Despite the Big waves the seals seemed to enjoy themselves.
Several Albatrosses stood up for me today showing of their eggs, one of the Gulls flew by and little SandPipers and others were flying around all over.
More soon - Be Safe 🌺😷🌺😷
