12-24-2013 Posted Late - DB's Dailies: Kainoa@RI, Kea & RA20 @ Eternity Beach, RI37 @ Turtle Bay

Sorry folks for posting this late.... I had to go to dinner with family and didn't get back to computer until today... I know you will all understand. 

At 0644 as I stood along the road above Eternity Beach, I could see RA20 & Kea playing in the water in the cove. First Kea (RN46), and then RA20 hauled out from the water front rocks and then moved high up on the beach. Dalin, Marilyn & I managed to deal with the adoring hordes and get a cordon in place. The duo remained the rest of the day, moving down to cool off at midday. Thanks to Dalin, Marilyn & Gayle. Ya’ Done Good !! Kea departed at 1810, however RA20 was still there when I departed in the dark.

　

At 0950 we found Kainoa (RN04) at Rabbit Island.

　

At 0700 Team Billand reported Kermit (R012) at #1708, and Makaiwi (R4DF) a #1707, White Plains.

　

At 1448 they found Haupu (RB24) at Nanakai Beach, Maili.

　

Dalin got a Hotline call at around 0745 reporting an animal at Turtle Bay. Excellent ID photos by Michelle Jordan confirmed the RI37 ID.

　

The Billands called to say they were still on the beach, so check da’ blog in the morning for the Team Billand day.
