2-19-2012 DB's Dailies: KC@Makapuu, R018,Kerby&Ka'ena@KP, Right Spot @ JC NWR, Rocky@IRQ

Despite lots of lookin' in the SE Quadrant, the only critter located was KC (RK28) whom I found at Makapuu Beach at 0711. She remained until 1651, when she departed of her own volition. Thanks to the Cober Clan for the cordon help !

Team Billand called at 0816 reporting Kermit (R012) fronting #1806 Nimitz Cottages.

The highlight of the day came at 0922 when the Billands called with the report of Makaiwi (R4DF at Palm Grove , Campbell Industrial Park. She had last been seen (by the Billands) on 11-22-11 at Nimitz, with a hook. She departed after that and was later seen on 1-5-12 on theBig Island, without hook.

Mrs. Whisperer did the Ka'ena Point trek today, and found R018, Kerby (RW08) and Ka'ena (RO40) at the end of the world.

Kelly Girl checked in at 1240 with the report of Right Spot (R016) at the James Campbell NWR, Kahuku.

Team Billand reported Pohaku (RO28) at Electric Beach at 1248.

Posse member Clay Gates reported that Rocky (RH58) hauled out at IRQ at 1630.

Dana called at 1713 with the report of 2AW at Pokai Bay. ID was by posterior dorsal scar, and tags.
