Kermit's Easter Sunday at White Plains

Thanks to the Billands for setting up the early AM perimeter. It was sooo important to have this established at this early stage. By the time Bob and I got there at 9:15AM it was still pretty slow with Easter morning. Teri and Karen got there later in the day and we did some adjustments with additional signage and posts and stuff. Kermit pretty much slept through 3 dogs, not on leashes, two surfers that refused to honor the perimeter, and generally good natured people.

The one surfer was in a rented Base cottage, 1760, we've got pics if anyone wants them. The dog ladies left after I asked them to leash the dogs, then the lifeguards asked, then the Base Police asked them and they were gone after that. They were way too close to Kermit with unleashed animals. The other dog owner put his pet on a leash and gave Kermit a wide berth.

The other surfer was just not all there. She was blonde and lived up to the stereotype. Said a dead seal couldn't hurt her.......We left our two wonderful volunteers on their own capable selves a little before 2:00PM.

Love that Kermit.
