DB Post Friday 4/3/2009

It was a quiet day in "DB's World" today. Since Irma is known to be in the SE quadrant, she was my first priority. After ruling out Sandy's and Irma's , and not finding her feeding at Spitting Cave, my Monachus Gene said there was only one place she could be. At 0813 , at the end of a 300 yard trudge down the Kokee Flats at Portlock, therrrrrrrre was Irma, cruisin' in her own private tide pool at "Irma's Grotto" . I spent about an hour with her, and she looked about as content as a critter can be, mostly submerged and just occasionally lifting her nostrils to breathe. Only sitting along side her feeding her grapes and figs could have made the scene anymore serene.

The one and only resident of Rabbit Island was R301 today. He hauled out fronting the 3rd Blue Sign (3BS), and did nothing ! Aloha, DB

Irma's Grotto :)
Ya know, somehow I can totally see the grapes and figs scenario...
